The Gloucester rowing club boathouse appeal is trying to raise over £1.5 million pounds to build a new boat house and club base which will be used by the club rowers, Cheltenham Ladies College, and Hartpury College.
The National Sport Lottery Fund donated £750,000 to help the boathouse campaign become a reality.
The new boat house is needed as the building just isnt big enough to hold 20 rowers, and definately not big enough to hold thousands on annual regattas.

This is the current boathouse. It is very old and well used and we are in need of a new one. To the right is the plan of what the boathouse will look like if the money is raised. We are raising money by having a 'Buy a brick' scheme. To donate to the site, follow the link below:
